Wild and pristine bays

Ferried on a fast boat across Ampasindava bay to the delta of the wild bays, you will circumvent the coral reeves before entering the inlets. The scenery becomes then exceptional around the cluster of small islands. Then landing and walking to a vantage point over the whole bay. Then reaching for a small desert island for a beach picnic, then return to base early afternoon. snorkelling is possible with freely lent equipment.

The lion volcanoes

An excursion with a fast boat or a motorised pirogue, following the shoreline up to the coconut trees beach. Stolling along below the coconut trees, then returning by boat to the sambirano river mouth. The boat then goes upstream till the foothill of the volcanoes of the lion, local walk followed by a picnic by the river. Return to the Dauphin Bleu by mid-afternoon.

The Ampasindava bay

Leaving the Ankify Lodge by fast boat (or pirogue) and following the numerous deserted beaches. Stroll in the lush coconut tree forest by the mangroves till we reach a creek leading up to the sea. Picnic on site while savouring local coconut juice. Discovery of new beaches, bathing on the way back.
